Chelsea & Terry

I have kind-of known Chelsea for a year now. She is a stylist at my hair salon, Strands & Essence. This past Monday I met Chelsea & Terry over at Fallbrook for their engagement session. They have not picked a wedding date yet, but when they do I hope I can be there to photograph their wedding. We had a great time wandering all around Fallbrook. These two were very calm and natural in front of the camera. The little things Chelsea did to pose herself were so great. I love the red of the barn in this photo.

I love the reflection in the water. This is one of my favorite shots.

I have always wanted to take more shots on this road. I really like how it winds.


Terry picked up Chelsea and spun her around, this was one of the shots I captured while he was spinning.

Donna & Ron

Last week I had the chance to get to know Donna & Ron a little bit more during their engagement session. We will be photographing their wedding on August 22nd of next year. They will be hosting a big tented wedding on the shores of Lake Ontario at Mexico Point State Park.

Brittany & Brandon got hitched!

Brittany is the new titleholder for the most last minute wedding, she beat out our August 3oth bride and groom who met us 9 days before their wedding. Brittany & Brandon's wedding was on Saturday October 18th. I first met Brittany Thursday October 16th when she called me in a panic looking for a photographer last minute. Luckily I had taken that weekend off and was available to photograph their wedding. I only wish I met Brittany a year before hand, because we sure did have a lot of fun together! Too bad they live in California.
One of our staff photographers Catherine was able to 2nd shoot the wedding with me last minute. It was a gorgeous Fall afternoon out at Bayshore Grove in Oswego,NY. The air was cool but the sun was warm. Brittany & Brandon were good sports about staying outside to finish taking their photos... it got sooooo cold. I will be away until Sunday in NYC then I have a wedding in Albany,NY. Enjoy these teaser photos.

I loved the color choices for the reception decor. The brown tables and vibrant greens, reds, and oranges were so pretty. The centerpieces had cranberrys all in them, it was pretty.


This was a shot Catherine took of the guys. The guy on the far right ended up falling righ in a puddle. The sky was so pretty


Another shot of Catherines. I was taking photos of Brittany by herself and I had put the bouqet in the crack. What a great angle Catherine!


The guys were gorgous, I love the light in this shot.


The clouds look fake. I love Brittany's red hair against the bright the bright blue sky.


It was getting really cold out so we took only a few minutes to take shots with the fall foliage. These two were made for a fall wedding!


Again with the clouds, they were so surreal.


Brittany had a very contagious laugh. This was taken when the best man was giving his speech.


There are so many more photos that I Love, but like I said before I should be doing albums instead of blogging for hours.

It's been a while!

What a beautiful fall this has been. I got back from my missions trip to the Dominican Republic on Oct. 12th and since then have been crazy busy with portraits, meetings, albums, etc. With the long list of albums I need to complete in the next coming weeks I must limit something from my life. Unfortunately this blog will be on the bottom of my "to do" list. I will try to keep you updated on what is going on, but to get these album and Christmas orders done I must keep working. Please keep your emails and phone calls coming!
I cannot believe we are almost booked full for 2009 and it is not even November. I expect that by the end of this month we will be completely booked for 2009. So if you are thinking about booking us for your wedding you should decide in the next week. Packages do not have to be picked right away. You get 30 days to pick a package after the deposit is sent in.

Shantele's dad has a vintage truck he brought to the wedding day. I always love when there is different forms of transportation. Vintage trucks and classic cars are my favorite!

I love this shot! The doorway is so cool. Shantele has been pictureing this shot for a long time and I know Isaac was so excited to make her dreams a reality.


This past Saturday our staff photographer Catherine and I photographed the wedding of Brittany & Brandon. We got the wedding last minute and I am so happy we did. It was such a great day. The only thing I would change is that we knew Brittany and Brandon for longer. They are wonderful people and it would have been fun to get to know them before the big day.
I also shot a few portraits this week and will share them with you. Each day for the next 4 days I will present a new photo session.
Meghan Thomas and I will be in NYC from Wed-Saturday. Then Isaac and I are meeting up in Albany for wedding at the Desmond Hotel. This is the first wedding this year we get to be guests at and I am so excited. Our staff photographer, Catherine, who I have been good friends with for 5 years, her brother is getting married to his long time sweatheart.

It is 12:42AM on Friday the 3rd. I am supposed to meet my group at 2:45am to leave for the airport. I will be in the Dominican until Sunday October 12th and will not be back in the office until Tuesday October 13th. Isaac and Kristen will be here to answer phone calls and emails.
